What types of background and training do FTP staff members have?

Family Training Program employees are trained in Trauma Informed Care approaches and philosophies. Our
staff have backgrounds in Social Work, Human Services, Counseling, Education and/or other fields pertinent to parent education. Staff members are provided with
training on complex family dynamics (i.e. families impacted by AODA Issues; Mental Health Difficulties; Cognitive Disabilities/Special Needs; Sexual Abuse;
Relationship Difficulties/Domestic Violence; Blended Family Issues, etc.) and receive on-going supervision and feedback.
